Good morning....

So, not too much news here on my end. Except I am 99.9999% sure that I am going to be going to Hawaii this April and staying at least a month and a half (longer if I adore it) and living at that eco-village place that I have blogged about in the past. I have already looked at plane tickets and everything. Then, when I decide it is time to leave there, there is place by the beach in Mexico where I am thinking about getting certified as a yoga instructor. Then, I would love to work at a raw restaurant, maybe in new york because I want to learn how to be more creative with raw foods and I want to be in an environment where people care about what they put into their bodies. If anybody in the raw food community wants to join me in Hawaii that would be awesome. It only costs $100 a month to stay at the place where I will be. It is an organic farm with loads of fruit that you can eat for free. It is also a community center where they teach theatre, dance, yoga and circus acts to the community. They are right on the beach also. More details will follow as I get my plans in place. Meanwhile yes I am excited!
I will probably be posting pictures soon of food since I am going to a raw potluck Saturday and need to come up with something wonderful to make! I am also going to try to post pictures everyday just of me and the random food I make (mostly juicing and smoothies) just because I think pictures are always more fun and more personal!

  3. One more thing...hope youre feeling better. And now that Im reading some more it looks like you are really having some big changes. Leaving your job and everything...really takes strength. I really admire your bravery and rest assured you will be rewarded for it. Life's purpose!! Thats real freedom...not having to "work" anymore because you simply love what you do.

You can learn a new language while youre there, catch up on some more books, and really get intimate knowledge of plants and living close to nature. There is no way you are going to regret any of this.

Everything is working out just as it should be. Create the reality you always dreamed about! And GET busy!!!

  6. Hello, Dear One. You can go here to become certified in yoga, it's very inexpensive. It's very authentic training. www.sivananda.org A friend recommended the ashram in Grass Valley, California for yoga training. She said that her friend recently became certified. You have an option, later, of going to one of the ashrams (hindu monasteries) in India for further training, but your will have a basic certification upon completion of the one month course in Cali. I think the cost is something like a two-hundred dollar donation or whatever one can afford for room and board for one month. The yoga training is basically free. All you need offer to the ashram is the two-hundred or so.

April, I have to know where you're going to in Hawaii too! I am on the same path as you are right now. I am wanting to get away and become certified in yoga. Looks like the divine wished for us to exchange info and help each other out here. I am still reading your blog. I don't know yet if you have mentioned where you will be staying there in Hawaii. I would just love to get away to this place! If there is no mention of the place on this site, would you mind e-mailing me at satchitananda.vrata@gmail.com? It would be much appreciated. I was considering going to Costa Rica, but I don't really want to leave the country right now.

Thank you kindly for your inspiration here, and have a beautiful day.

    Aum. Namaste. Shanti.

  7. P.S. I would have loved to have gone with you too. I don't think I can make it to Hawaii before you leave, though! I'm in Texas right now visiting my family, and then I am off to home again in Montana. Maybe, just maybe, I could make it to Hawaii before you leave. We'll see. :0)
