Well, I have started to settle in here in Hawaii. It was a bit complicated but it is starting to work out now. When I arrived in Honolulu last night my luggage was not there so I filed it with baggage claim. Then, when I flew from Honolulu to Hilo, there was a mix up with who was picking me up. So, last night I spent by myself at the Hilo airport just walking around crying because I didn't know what to do or who or where I was going to be picked up. A wonderful college student Holli talked with me, let me use her phone, internet and let me stay at her place last night with her roommates. Meanwhile I was able to hook up with everyone here at belly acres and arrived here today at 1 pm. It is absolute paradise! I don't know how else to describe it. The first lovely person I met, Marte is from Norway and guess what, she is a raw foodist! So, we took a walk to the beach and picked guava from a tree and ate it. Delicious! Then, we came back and I got settled in my jungalow, which is adorable. Then we shared our food and made a beautiful salad and ate together. Meanwhile I love all of the other people living here as well, it is a very nice community and everyone is extremely friendly :-). Everyone here is very creative and inspirational in a sense. They live life fully truly. Also, I have been in touch with the airport and should be getting my luggage tonight or tomorrow. Tomorrow, Marte and I are ploanning to make a wonderful dinner. We are going to make raw tacos, we have walnuts and all the necessary spices and we are going to make guacamole and possibly make some "sour cream" out of coconut meat.
I have some more pictures that I would like to post but am not able to right now. I have taken some pictures here in hawaii and will post them soon.
