This week....

So, I guess I have not blogged in a while huh? Well, this week (ever since Sunday) the weather has been gorgeous. The weather really is perfect, never too hot or too cold, just right. So, for my work exchange this week I have been helping out with a kids camp where the kids are learning how to do aerials, the trapeeze, and gymnastics and other circus activities. I have attached a picture of myself that came out kind of blurry but is kind of cool none the less. It has been fun working with the kids as well as learning some aerial stuff myself. Hopefully by the time I leave here I will improve a lot. Who knows? Anyways, so I have been helping out with the kids and then about two miles away there is a health spa that offers yoga and so in the afternoon I walk there (life without a car), go to an hour and a half yoga session and then walk back. Sometimes I hitch hike a ride if someone from belly acres is driving past me. Oh crap, I was going to post some pictures I took last week and somehow a lot of my pictures have been deleted. Guess I will just have to take new ones. Okay, back to things here. On Monday night I went with a bunch of people to see the volcano gushing into the ocean. That was pretty amazing although we were not able to get very close to it to see very well. Then, on Wednesday night I went to ecstatic dance and that was fun. So, this is a raw food blog so I guess I will mention some things about raw food. Well, I did eat all raw yesterday and today as well. This afternoon I went to the grapefruit tree here which is almost out of season and picked two grapefruit, which was pretty good. I also picked an orange. I have picked a couple of avocados from a tree on the property but am just waiting for them to ripen now. My goal is going to be to take pictures of all the fruit trees I am picking from so ya'll can see it. There is also a mulberry tree and this is the first time I have had mulberries. They are awesome! there is also a raw food community out here called Pangia that I would like to visit. One of my friends bought me some raw chocolates from there that are delicious! They have goji berries on the inside and she is able to get me a super good deal, she got me nine for ten dollars which for raw chocolates is a great deal. Well, I am going to head out for now. Aloha.
