So, feeling kind of down and ready to go home. Things are very different here and at times it can be lonely. I find myself resorting to non raw food when I am feeling down or confused. At least I have been eating vegan. today when I got back from working someone had left a vegan pizza for everyone and it was really delicious. I need to move next door to shannon marie so that when I need an emergency raw concotion to satisfy me I can just run next door :-). How about those blueberry muffins she just created, they look awesome huh? Check them out at www.welikeitraw.com.
Just feeling lost right now and am hoping that getting certified in yoga will help to give me some direction in my life.
Aww...Sounds like you are missing home too..... I know you are prob not looking for advice but if I were you, I would take a walk down the beach, and say aloud all the things that I am thankful for. That really helps me when I feel down- to realize that I have so much and so much to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteI cant wait for you to start your Yoga Certification course. Do share everything with us :)

Hang in there, April, I've learned that if you are constantly trying to move your life in a positive direction then you will always be improving and becoming a better person. I admire the fact that you're not afraid to try these new and different things- just remember to relax and enjoy them a little.
ReplyDeleteI have some questions for you about our trip to Hawaii:
is there anything that we should pack that you couldn't live without or that you wish you had brought with you?
Does the kitchen there have a juicer and dehydrator?
Have you found bugs to be a huge problem?
And, is there anything else you think we should know before we go?
Thanks for your help and advice-- keep your chin up, girl, and remember that you are doing good things in your life!

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. Ya'll are too sweet. Rebekah, that is a great idea! Thanks and I am feeling better today. Also, for dale and alyssa. Definitely bring a flash light and and umbrella, although I don't think it will be quite as rainy when ya'll get here this side of the island is rainier than the other sides. I would also bring towels. Bedding is provided here so unless you want to bring your own you are good. There is only a blender here, no dehydrator or juicer. Anyways, I think you should both have a good time here. It is a really neat place to be and let me know if you have more questions. Oh yeah, I haven't found bugs to be a problem at all. Of course there are mosquitos but I just wear bug spray and don't get bitten. There might be more bugs when it gets hotter but for the most part there are a lot of geckos hanging around.
ReplyDeleteDon't feel lonely. That's the wonderful thing about the Internet. You can always connect with your friends online for support.
ReplyDeleteAs for the resorting to cooked food, don't beat yourself up about it. You can always go back to eating raw again. Just grab some of that fresh fruit that's probably abundant where you are.
That's the beauty of raw. Fancy recipes are nice, but nothing beats fruits and veggies in their natural state, which is very convenient.
Sending love your way!
ReplyDeletep.s. Just left you a voice message too : )
