Doesn't time just fly when your having fun? Well, the seven days have gone by somewhat fast. Last night I was going through all of my raw cookbooks and thinking about all of the wonderful things I am going to make when the month of May is over. I am excited about this summer because I am going to plan some trips in the US. I really want to meet more raw people and have raw friends all over the world. I have talked with heathy from Canada and we are going to try and work a trip where I come up there. I am probably going to make a trip to NY this summer and just indulge at raw restaurants up there. I also really would like to go out to Callifornia for like a week. I have some friends there but there are also so many raw foodies out there that I would love to meet and plus I really would love to go to cafe gratitude. Since I am only work part time Monday - Wednesday that leaves more time to take some trips like that. So, that is what is on my mind right now.
This morning I had some green juice (celery and green peppers) and am planning on having a smoothie when I get home from work. Tonight I am meeting up with some raw fooders here in ATL at R Thomas and we are going to discuss some plans for getting the raw food community going here in ATL. I will bring a camera to take some pictures and post I know I haven't posted any pics in a while.
i look forward to you comming to NY (if you can). Summers here are amazing. Central Park is like something out of a Disney movie. Raw food is everywhere here My restaurant Quintessence www.raw-q.com is a must for anyone wanting raw. After all we are the ones who kicked off the new trend of restaurants back in 1999, pre Roxannes, Pre Cafe Gratitude, anything in Santa Monica... Let me know when your in town and I'll give you the whole raw food tour.

Yes. I went to your restaurant when I was in New York for the Garam Masala retreat. It was excellent! I will definitely go there if I am in NY!
ReplyDeleteGreat blog! There’s plenty of useful information and motivation. I’ll definitely be back. Check out my blog at Http://www.realfoodforlife.blogspot.com . I’ve been juicing organic produce for years starting with a “Vitamix” in the 70’s to a “Juiceman in the 90’s and love the benefits. Recently I found a delicious 100% organic ready to mix, non-pasturized, "Insta-Fresh" powder that has 30 fruits and berries, 30 super greens and vegetables, 11 nuts, seeds and sprouts all in an easy to mix concentrate that has 83 Active Enzymes and Minerals and 22 Resilient Living Probiotics with no artificial or genetically modified ingredients or preservatives. It's absolutely the best , organic, whole food supplement on the market today. Great for people on the go! And all for just $1 per serving! Now that's juicing for the new millennium! Just read the label and get a sample like I did at Http://www.urilife.com/realfoodforlife/products.html I think you’ll love it! Keep up the good work here and don't forget the bronx zoo on Wednesday (it's free!) if and when you're in NY!
