I try and be a positive person. In fact, focusing on the positive and putting positive and inspiring thoughts into your mind is just as important as putting high quality food into your physical body. Sometimes I wonder where the balance is between being informed about the world we live in, even if parts of it might be disheartening, and focusing on the positive. I do get discouraged when things happen that I don't agree with and I wonder how I can make a difference. Lately I have been watching a lot of you tube videos on various topics that have me concerned about where our country is headed and I have noticed it has brought me down a little bit. This morning I decided that I was going to make an effort to find websites that report on positive news. I found three that I really like and want to share with you. I am also going to put a permanent link to them on my blog so that I remember to click on them regularly. The sites I really like are www.dailygood.org, darynkagan.com, and happynews.com. I found a great story from www.dailygood.org about a woman who decided to give up plastics. Watch it below.
