Yesterday I ate all raw and am proud of myself. I can tell that it is getting easier and easier to eat completely raw. I had: fruit smoothie for breakfast, fruit smoothie for lunch, a salad with avocado for dinner and some mangos thrown in for good luck. This Thursday I want to make a nice raw meal for my dad with a dessert. He has been juice fasting since January 6th and he is ready to eat again on the 31st. I am proud of him. He went from 200 pounds and he has been juice fasting on and off again and has come down to 165 pounds. He is at the point where he doesn't want to lose any more weight now. It is nice to have my father living the same type of lifestyle, so in my home eating raw is so easy and supported.
On to other issues, I have a good friend of mine that has a serious health problem and I really feel like raw foods could help him but I don't want to pressure anybody to do anything they don't want to do. I thought about just offering to help him heal himself if he wants me to. If he doesn't want me to then I just let it go I guess. Right?
In the mean time I am really enjoying the giveittomeraw website. There are quite a few raw foodists in Atlanta and I really want us to all get together but although people say they want to get together nobody really responds to my posts about getting together. Hopefully we will be able to get a solid community up and running!
