So, yesterday I made flax crackers with parchment paper instead of wax paper and they did not stick to the paper. Yay! Thanks to everyone who helped me out with that. Anyways, I LOVE making flax crackers now and will forever be addicted to it. It is the easiest thing in the world to do and they taste wonderful. Basically, I bought golden organic flax seeds at the store and poured 2 cups into a bowl with two cups of water. Then, I let it soak for 30 minutes. After that, the flax seeds have soaked up all of the water and turn into a batter type of consistency. From that point you can put seasonings in it, I did one set that was plain, one that had some honey and one batch that had salsa type of ingredients. They all tasted very good. I did like the batch with salsa because it would be good for a mexican night obviously. Anyways, I can tell that flax crackers will turn into a staple for me. They were cheap, only $2.80 for four cups.
Glad to see your crackers turned out. I knew you'd get it right on the second try.
