Friday...a bit of soul searching...
So, I wanted to comment about my apple pie. It tasted very good but I think I should have added more apples to it to taste even better. Maybe two layers of apples on top of the crust. Also, wanted to mention that my brother arranged the apples on top and did a much better job than I was doing. He definitely has a good eye for design! So, upon coming back from Hawaii I decided that I needed to find a job where I felt more passionate and alive. So, I am going to be cutting my hours to two full days of work per week. I am going to spend a lot of my spare time taking dance classes, yoga classes, acting classes, circus performance classes, etc. I have also decided to start going to a unitarian church that is close by. Here in atlanta I really am not a part of a supportive community of people. I have some friends but I noticed in hawaii that I really felt like I was a part of a community and I think I need to have that in my life. I like the unitarian church because they don't specify that anyone has to believe a particular religion, they just support spiritual growth and I am at a place in my life right now where that is what I need. I am also excited because they have a very active acting group, a dance (creative movement) group, and anyone can be a part of the choir as long as they make a commitment to go to the rehersals. So, I am going to check it out this Sunday to see what I think about it. Oh yeah, they also have groups for specific age groups, like they have a 20 something group so I definintely want to be a part of that scene. I also want to spend some of my spare time reading books about how to have a business, possibly some cake decorating books (so I can learn how to decorate some divine raw cakes) and whatever strikes me I suppose. I am also applying for a job with outward bound for the fall season. Oh and I also want to start adding more videos of myself making different recipes although when I viewed the video I posted recently it was extremely choppy and I don't know if that is my computer or if it is the way that every one views it.
Nope video was not choppy when I viewed it :)
ReplyDeleteGood for you! Yes, it is very important (to me) to be connected to a church/your community.
Im really glad to see you exploring your interests and taking some "me" time. Have a good time and enjoy life! :)
