So, last night I decided to make a pasta dish out of a basil creamy sauce. I marinated mushrooms in olive oil, namo shoyu, basil and oregano and put it in the dehydrator for about four hours. The pasta was okay, I needed more mushrooms I think. My dad outright told me he did not like it, which really hurt my feelings. He loved my lasanga and raved about it. I felt he could have used a nicer way to tell me he didn't like it and I feel he should have acknowledged all the time I put into making it. That sucks when you spend a lot of time making something and it is not a winner that everyone adores. I still had some leftover brownies so I sprinkled some coconut on top of them and then made fun shapes out of watermelon from some cookie cutters that I recently bought. Today I want to try and make a not tuna pate and will dip it with cucumbers. I also want to make another dessert, just not sure what it will be yet. I also bought a Bob Marley cd and a Jas
your dish looks delicious and the brownies are making my mouth water :) i love eating great food i just wish i had the patience to make it! by the way Bob Marley is one of my fave's. his sons (Damien, Stephen & Ziggy) are also good. enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Glad you enjoyed the pictures and actually the food really doesn't take too long to make at all. Well, some raw food does, but these dishes didn't. Yes, I love Bob Marley!
ReplyDeleteI love the watermelon pieces, they truly are cute! I want to try that sometime. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThe pasta looks great! Anything with marinaded mushrooms is a winner in my book :) Too bad your dad didn't like it, guess there's just more for you! :D
ReplyDeleteHey,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments! I want to try and make some kind of cute flower arrangement out of fruit cut into flower shapes. And the marinated mushrooms were quite tasty! Yep, more for me:-)
Wow, your dishes look FANTASTIC! Are you sure your calling isn't as a chef, and not theater?
ReplyDeleteOh, anything your dad doesn't like... Send it to me!! :-)
