Since Sunday evening I have had a lot of pain in the back of my mouth. I have never had a cavity before and I guess I thought I never would get one since I am a raw foodist and everything. However, I think I need to go to the dentist and get my mouth checked out. Last night I was in so much pain that I had to take one aspirin so I could sleep (that is the first time I have taken aspirin in like two years). Anyways, I guess it is not a good idea to get overconfident with your teeth even if you eat raw foods.
Another question, I really want to get trained as a yoga teacher, I don't think the sitting at the computer desk is the lifestyle that I want for myself. So, if you have gotten trained somewhere and you really enjoyed the program please let me know where this program is. I also want a program that is yoga alliance certified. OR if you are a yoga teacher and love it let me know that. I don't think I have ever met a yoga teacher that did not like thier job. Well, wish me and my tooth luck!
I am a yoga instructor in combination with other things birth related. I do enjoy teaching yoga, but even more so I love learning and practicing it so that I can go deeper into myself. I think the first thing you should ask yourself about yoga training is what kind of yoga intrests you? Kelly at Raw in Montana just did an awesome sounding ytt in Bali at a place that served all raw food. Blissful. I did my ytt at a place in my state that is yoga alliance recognized. I loved my yoga instructor. She has years and years of experience and our instruction didn't focus on any one type of yoga. Each person in my class had to teach a class, so we learned different influences through that and this program gave us the opportunity to branch off for further study in whatever kind of yoga we desired. That really appealed to me. Kripalu is in a beautiful setting and is a very relaxing place to be. I took my first training in yoga there, so it may be nice to do the work that you mentioned in your most recent post there. There are yoga programs all over though. What does your heart feel drawn to and what program works out for you?
ReplyDeleteThank you for this very thoughtful reply. I definitely understand you when you say you want to do yoga to get deeper into yourself. I think it is a great tool for self realization. Personally my favorite kinds of yoga are yin yoga, and partner yoga.
