More ramblings, back by popular demand...

So, this weekend was okay. The mystery dinner theatre I went to was very funny, it was at the new church I have been going to and everyone there is so talented. Of course the only thing I could eat was the salad. When I was buying the tickets for the theatre I said, "Do you have vegan food on the menu" and the response was, "yes, we have vegetarian food". I don't mind though because I did not go for the food so I gladly gave mine to my brother who will eat anything. Saturday I hung out at the pool with some friends. On Sunday I went to Atlanta Unity church and really liked it a lot. I like this church, they are based on the Bible somewhat but they only focus on the love and joy etc and accept all religions. Everyone there is always completely glowing and before church they offer reiki healing sessions which I went to, to see what it was like. When I got home from that I made a raw strawberry cheese cake. I don't have pictures because I couldn't get a hold of my dad's camera. I really need to buy my own camera very soon. Anyways the cheese cake was delicious. I did not have it in the fridge long enough though because it looked more like a glob on the plate rather than a piece of pie. Sunday evening I went to my acting improv class and it was really fun. I laughed a lot so that was good. So, that was my weekend in a nutshell. Anyone have a good suggestions for a good digital camera?

  1. I have a Canon Powershot A620 (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canonA620/), 7 megapixel and I've been happy with it. The quality is great, it has many useful features, it's user friendly, good size to slip into a bag and carry around and I love the swing out LCD screen which enables shooting from all kinds of angles that you won't get with a regular flat screen. My only thing with it is that it's not that great in low light (and I don't like using flash, so I prefer a camera that is good in low light without flash) ... but I can still get some interesting low light shots using the manual function.

  2. I have the same exact one and I love it! The only thing I do not like is that the zoom is only 3x and I would like it to be more...But its no biggie...only if you are shooting from really far away.

  3. Thanks everyone! I will consider that camera. I bought my dad the cannon powershot A560 so I guess the A620 is better?
