Today I have eaten all raw food. I had a package of organic rasberries, fresh squeezed orange juice, vegetable juice, and a fruit smoothie. I feel pretty satisfied too. So, I changed the entire layout of my blog and I really like it. I may actually keep it like this from now on, although I predict there is a possiblity I could change the lay out or decide I want a different color for my blog title. Anyways, next week is my last week working at this job and I can hardly believe it. I have worked here over four years and to think that I won't ever work here again is strange but very good. I am stepping out into the unknown, taking a risk. I wonder what my future has in store for me. I am very excited about my yoga training that is starting up next weekend. I think yoga is so healing in so many ways and compliments raw foods so well. I wonder what changes I will experience going through that training. I guess I will find out soon enough. Huh?
On another note, my dad is doing a 15 day juice / smoothie fast. He started it on the first of the month so he will be done on the 15th. I am proud of him and glad that my dad is supportive of my desire to eat raw foods! One interesting thing is that he has had this scar on his nose that just hasn't healed. It is like this scab that always has dried blood. Whenever he does a juice fast it starts to completely heal and juice fasting seems to be the only thing that helps it to heal. Just kind of interesting to me.
I hope to delve into making a lot of raw food recipes next week before I leave for my yoga training. I just have been extremely busy lately rehearshing for a play almost every night. Tonight is the last performance though so next week will be a much slower pace. So, of course I will be taking pictures for you all to see.
One thing going on next week that I am super excited about is that I am going to see the musical "Wicked" at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in down town Atlanta. An incredible woman and mentor who was close friends with my mother when she was alive gave me these incredible tickets that will have a fantastic view of the production! She is an awesome person and always encourages me to take risks, get out of my comfort zone and try new things. She said there are some people who are afraid to try anything new and just watch through the window as life passes them by. That is not a way you are going to find happinness. You have to go out and live life, try new things, follow your dreams, have adventures, etc. She is a motivational speaker as well and she is pretty good at it. So, wish me luck on my play tonight!
Hi, All the best for your play tonight, and I'm sure you'll rock.
