Behind the counter at Pure Food and Wine and Quintessence!

I arrived in New York on Sunday and Charles took me around to all of the great raw food restaurants. We went to Quintessence, which is my new favorite raw food restaurant! I ordered nachos with guacamole, salsa, and sour cream! Oh my gosh, these were the best raw chips I have ever tasted! Then, I also had half of Charles bagel with cream cheese! Oh it was soooooooooo great! I have NEVER had a raw bread that I like and this was amazing!!! It was so great! I must say Quintessence is now my favorite restaurant over Pure Food and Wine simply because the prices and much more reasonable, the quantity of food is much larger and the food is some of the best raw food I have ever had! The top picture is the raw bagel! So, then we went to Pure Food and Wine takeaway for dessert! The desserts there are amazing! It is basically like walking into a bakery except it is raw! There are all sorts of cookies, cakes, pies, everything! We started talking to the guys that work behind the counter and I asked if I could get behind the counter at pure food and wine and so here is my picture to prove it! It is the one with me standing next to the guy with the pineapple! I was right next to the freezer with all of the delicious raw ice creams! So, this is my review of going to New York and loving the raw food and wishing we had these restaurants in Atlanta! I am at Kripalu now but that is a whole new post, I don't have time to say too much now. I am feeling a little homesick but everyone here is very nice and I have made some nice friends already!
