Raw Food Weekend Food and Fun!

I spent this weekend with some good raw food friends at the beach. It was pretty cold but we had fun making recipes, doing acro yoga, and enjoying nature. We made raw spaghetti and raw vegan sushi which are shown here. We also made key lime pie and raw carob fudge which we ate too quickly to take pictures of. As soon as we got back today we headed out to a potluck and the food was great. There was a wonderful butternut squash salad, apple cookies, fruit and other various salads. I was inspired talking with Bill who is an older gentleman who has lost 100 pounds eating raw foods. He gave me some alkalanized water to bring home with me and try out. He looked extremely healthy and juices everyday. I am going to make my goal to start juicing green juice everyday. I used to do it consistently and want to get back into it. Well, enjoy the pictures and see you soon!

  2. Sounds like you had a nice weekend on the beach. I have to say - it's only reached about 40 degrees here, so definitely not beach weather:-)

As far as juicing, we make carrot juice each day. I always try to add some greens to it.

  4. What a fun weekend April! Sounds like a great way to get rejuvenated! I have been wanting to try alkalized water so let me know if you notice a big change. I drink green juice every morning and definitely feel the difference if I miss. I know you'll love the feeling it brings too : )
