Apples dipped in chocolate...
I made this for an afternoon snack today and am enjoying it right now in fact. So today is my 13th day eating 100% raw food. I kind of felt a slump today and felt I wasn't enjoying my food as much as normal but am still sticking with the raw foods. I think I may need to be getting more greens into my diet either through juicing or green smoothies. I am going to start doing that tomorrow. I went for a walk earlier today and have been working on outlines for some of my yoga classes.
One exciting thing is that under the canopy (an organic online store) is having a big sale! Last week I ordered organic sheets, bedding and yoga clothing from them for very affordable prices (considering it is organic). I got my order in a few days ago and am enjoying my new organic items! I especially liked one of the yoga tanks I got and so I ordered a few more in different colors. Here is my new recipe and let me know if you get a chance to try it!
Apples and chocolate:
2 pink lady apples
1 avocado
2 tablespoons of raw chocolate
2 tablespoons of honey (more or less according to your taste)
Directions: Mix avocado, raw choc, and honey in your vita mixer or blender until you get a smooth silky consistency. If it is not mixing well you can add water until it will mix. Cut up your apples and serve with the chocolate! Enjoy!
I like this quick and easy recipe! Did you use powder for the chocolate? Or something like a raw chocolate bar?
ReplyDeleteLovely idea! Your dip looks so pretty in the middle of the apple slices:)
ReplyDeleteI will check out the store you mentioned, it sounds great!
mmm... fruit & chocolate
ReplyDeleteYum! Easy for sure! I must try this ASAP!
