New Years Resolutions...
Looking back over this past year I have changed a lot of things in my life for the better. I switched careers from a 9 - 5er bound by my cubicle to a free lance yoga instructor making enough to support myself. I began practicing acro yoga last Spring and since then have been improving my skills. I went to school to study theatre, voice, and piano for a semester. I have continued with my improv acting training. I went to Kripalu (the largest yoga center in the US) for the summer for an internship program. Since coming back to Atlanta I have built up (slowly but surely) a yoga niche teaching mostly in the college settings. I have continued making raw food recipes to share with my awesome readers. One of my highlighted recipes would definitely be the raw pizza I made. So what is for the new year?
I have made some positive changes in my life but am ready for even more radical changes. My goal is to eat 100% raw for the first month of January and to have it continue through the year. My focus will be on making recipes with minimal to zero nuts and seeds focusing mostly on the whole fruits and veggies.
Some New Years Resolutions:
1. Learn to crochet and knit by going to crochet groups and learning from friends.
2. Learn to garden by volunteering at a local community garden in Atanta.
3. Eat 100 % raw food. Make new amazing recipes that aren't nut heavy.
4. Improve my acro yoga skills both as the base and as the flyer.
5. Improve my improv acting skills.
6. Take trapeeze lessons.
7. Recycle
8. Compost
9. Buy local produce rather than just organic
10. Buy organic products including clothing and home supplies.
11. Learn how to live more self sustainably.
