Fifth Day Raw and Product Reviews...
This was my fifth day raw and I thoroughly enjoyed my food today. For breakfast I had two bananas. Lunch: 2 lara bars, 2 bananas, avocado, romaine lettuce, orange salad. Snack: A giant grape and blueberry smoothie. For dinner I had tons of coconut water, 2 bananas and fresh squeezed orange juice. Yummy!
The prana bar company sent me these two bars in the mail to try and write a review about. I sampled them about a week and a half ago. I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed both of the bars! The boomi bar reminded me of the inside of a snickers bar and the pranabar was delicious with a smooth consistency. Overall I would recommend both of these products to anyone who is making the transition towards healthier snacks. I will mention that these bars are vegan but are not raw. Therefore, since I am aiming towards 100% raw I would not include them in my diet. However, many people are high raw and in this case I think these are a great addition to any diet. You should be able to find them at your local whole foods market. Happy St. Patricks Day!
Thanks for the suggestions April! I like to keep a few bars on hand for emergencies, these will be a good addition!
