Recipes For Natural House Hold Cleaning Products

I usually do raw food recipes but today I will be giving recipes for natural cleaning supplies that you can make yourself. As I have become more aware of the food I put into my body I am also more aware of the products I use on a daily basis. What are in these products and are they safe. Today I am talking about house hold cleaning supplies. Many common household cleaners are poisonous if ingested, can be harmful if inhaled or touched, and contribute to indoor air pollution. By making your own cleaning supplies you can save money, keep your home healthy, and help the environment!

Kitchen Floors Recipe: In a bucket mix 1/2 cup of white vinegar with 1 gallon of hot water. This is safe for hardwood, linoleum, tile, and any washable surface.

Oven Cleaner: Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda, 1 tbsp salt, 1/2 cup of hot water. Make a gritty paste, apply to the oven, and wipe away with a damp rag.

Dish washing by hand: In small spray bottle fill 3/4 with water and 1/4 with lemon juice. Lemon juice is the main ingredient in dish washing detergent because it is an excellent grease fighter.

Bathroom Glass Cleaner: 1-2 tbsp white vinegar mixed w/ 1 quart of water in spray bottle.

Bathroom Floors: (same as kitchen floors recipe)

*Good luck with trying out some of these recipes!
