Mint Smoothie and Yoga

Thank goodness I am starting to feel a little bit better today. If you read my post yesterday you would know that I have come down with some sort of cold, soar throat, etc. So, yes you can still get sick eating a high raw diet. I have been having a lot of these mint smoothies. I pick the mint from my backyard, we have more than I could ever possibly use! Mint is effective for different ailments including: stomach aches, head aches, and sinus congestion.
I don't talk much about yoga on this website but yoga is my other passion. I teach yoga full time to college students and to the corporate world. I have just launched my new website www.yogaintheoffice.com. Through this website I hope to expand my corporate yoga classes in the Atlanta area. With a few of my corporate yoga classes the company actually pays me and the employees enjoy free yoga classes where they work. Many companies are starting to offer wellness programs at work to improve employee retention and yoga is one program many are looking to incorporate. Feel free to give me feedback. If you are in the Atlanta area and want to see yoga at your workplace you can contact human resources where you work to see if they would have an interest in this program.

Mint Smoothie:
2 frozen bananas
15 mint leaves
3 tbsp honey
1/4 cup of water

Directions: Use a vitamixer and place all of the ingredients in and mix until completely smooth! If you want to use a blender with this recipe you will have to use regular bananas (rather than frozen) and add ice to make it cold.
