Scary Halloween Candy!

Last night I got together with my friend Marie-Lies and we made some raw chocolate candy with mint filling and some sugar cookies. The pictures are the evidence of last nights scary chocolate encounter. I got these halloween molds from a nearby cake store and each set only cost two dollars. The sugar cookies are in the dehydrator as we speak and tonight we are going to get together to ice them. We have pumpkin and ghost cookies! Anyway, the recipe for these chocolates are in the Cafe Gratitude Dessert recipe book but it is easy to find chocolate candy recipes on line if you look for them. These chocolates taste delicious especially with the mint filling! My favorite ones are the caskets with the lid on top! I can already forsee the near future: everyone is going to get raw chocolate candy for christmas presents! If you have never made raw chocolate molds before it is so easy and so much fun, you should try it!
In other news my yoga classes are going well and I am slowly but surely building up more and more clientelle. Also, I am continuing to juice my greens everyday and am seeing great results in my hair (shinier and healthier feeling) and skin (clearer skin!). I have been able to stick to eating raw all of this week because of the meal plan that I made at the beginning of the week. Having something already made in the fridge helped me to stay raw while feeling completely satisfied and happy. Stay tuned to see how the cookies came out! And Happy Halloween!

  1. Mmmm those chocolates look delish! I recently made my own raw chocolates using a candy mould and it's so easy and fun. I put raw nuts and dried fruit inside. How did you make the mint filling??
