Acro Yoga...my other love

Every Thursday from 12 - 4 pm I am busy....what am I doing? Acro yoga! My friend Todd teaches it and every Thursday he has play day at his house, free of charge! All of us acro nuts come to his home and play! Todd's bedroom is converted into a gymnasium of bodies and laughter. This Thursday a photographer came to take pictures of us and these were some she sent us. Acro yoga has connected me with my childhood of playfulness and fun connections with other people! I have become more confident and trusting in my body and other people as well. I love all of the people who come and it feels somewhat like a family. This Thursday I brough some food to share with everyone: spiced apples(diced apples mixed with cinnamon and honey) and coconut cream to go on top (coconut meat with honey) and a spinach casserole I make out of avocado, green onions, spinach and a bit of sea salt. I was quite happy and filled up with these dishes and everyone else enjoyed them as well! Just wanted to share a bit more about this aspect of my life.
Raw Food Notes: I have eaten 100% raw all week now. I haven't had any nuts but have been eating quite a bit of avocados and coconuts, although I am still noticing good benefits from cutting out the nuts! Less oily hair, clearer skin, and about 5 lb weight loss. I am planning some holiday recipes for Christmas because we will be in Charlotte North Carolina with family. Last Thanksgiving I just brought a bunch of delicious raw foods and nobody cared that they were raw or that I was only eating raw. They just enjoyed what I brought. I am going to be cutting out the nuts and creating some delicious nutless
recipes to share with family. I think the only exception I will make is buying some cashews for my holiday cookies recipe. Hope your all having a happy hoilday season and stay tuned for some fun recipe ideas:-).

Thanks for the awesome acro pics! And congrats on your 100% raw week. I personally dont ever try/plan what percentage I am, I would guess about 90%. If you dont count coffee :) That blows my stats! But seriously, I think whatever makes YOU feel good is awesome stuff!! :)
