60 Day Raw Food Challenge and cake...

Yesterday I got together with my friend Marie-Lies and we made a raw pasta dish and we made Ani Phyo's chocolate raspberry cake. The pasta dish was so so but I really liked the cake. Raspberry and chocolate is such an amazing combination! This is the first time I have ever made a raw vegan cake and it was yummy. I have started a 60 day raw food challenge for myself. This is day 2 of my challenge. For the most part I want to focus these 60 days on eating close to 80 10 10 although I will make some exceptions for special occasions. Please stay tuned to find out how my challenge is going and have a good day.

  1. i love how you posted the cake and then said you were going 80-10-10. :-)

the folks i know (in person not online) who are 80-10-10 definitely eat some treats at potlucks. they have been doing this a long time and i think that wiggle room keeps them happy and also helps with socializing.

  6. Thank you fitness freak! Yes, chocolate is awesome!

80 10 10 is eating 80 perfent of calories from fruits and veggies and one of the 10' is from fats (avocaods, nuts, etc). I just have a tendency to overdo the nuts and fats.
