30th Day Raw and Minor slip up...
I have decided to add veggie juices back into my diet so here is a picture of celery cucumber juice that I had after lunch. I know that you are supposed to juice your veggies right before you eat them but I juiced enough for three days at once. I am hoping this will help me to save time. I am planning on making a vegetable soup out of my pulp so nothing should go to waste!
This weekend I had a real adventure. I decided to go on a rock climbing trip in Alabama with Georgia State University. It was an overnight trip so I had to pack so many fruits and veggies to keep my tummy happy :-). I spiralized zucchini and ate it with salsa and guacamole, brought cucumbers, grapefruit, bananas, apples, and oranges. Anyways, mid day on Sunday I ran out of food and gave into eating vegan trail mix and a granola bar. So, on my 30th day of the challenge I went off the raw train. So, what am I doing about it? Starting today off as my new 30th day and will keep going for the 60 days. Am I being hard on myself? No way :-). Besides I had an amazing time rock climbing and being out of the city. The group of people I was with were so much fun and I had an amazing time. I am black and blue with bruises and don't have any pictures from the trip sadly. Well, just an update and have a great day!
Staple veggie juice:
1 cucumber
1 stalk of celery
