Raw in the Family...
Today was my brother's birthday and so we had a picnic (my brother, myself and his girlfriend Emily). He is 20 years old! I made a giant salad for us and then I made these cute pineapple grape lollipops. It is my brother and Emily's 19th day eating 100% raw and they are enjoying it. I did a short interview with them to share with you guys! My brother Stephen says that his face has cleared up a lot (it has by the way :-), his hair isn't as oily, his muscles are more defined and he says he feels better overall. He also says that he is hanging out with his usual friends less and looking for friends that live a healthier lifestyle and are more in tune with their bodies. My brother is not a big talker so that was about all that I could get out of him.
I interviewed Emily next and she said that after doing raw for 19 days that her hair has more moisture and is shinier, her skin feels smoother, she lost 7 - 10 lbs (which she is pretty happy about), her IBS went away and her digestive system overall is working better. She says that she currently struggles with wanting more variety in her diet but overall is very happy with her results from eating raw food. This summer Emily and Stephen will be in Hawaii for three months working at an ecovillage learning about self sustainability and how to garden. I am so excited and proud of both of them! They are wise beyond their years!
wow, great for them, on the raw diet and going to hawaii to learn about self-sustainability and gardening! where can i sign up?=)
